try uninstalling it under add/remove programs in control panel... if that does not work try system restore

Go Control Panel-->add remove -->check mark on the top of the window "show updates"
Then look for Internet Explorer 7, click on that then choose "remove" . IE7 will uninstall and your system will re-run IE6 and you don't need to download IE6 again.

Ok, go to start menu, then all programs. Now go up to accessories then system tools. Now click on system restore, then pick the date before you downloaded Internet Explorer 7 click ok. It should restart your computor and your back to Internet Explorer 6.
Trust me i'm a computor freak.

All I did was go to Add/Remove programs and removed IE 7. After the PC restarted I was back on IE 6.

Why do you want to go back to IE 6.0? I think IE 7.0 is pretty much better than 6.
