This is not a joke this is real. Everytime I deficate, it hurts, sometimes more, sometimes less. When I wipe, I get streaks of blood on the paper. My friend had hemroids and his blood was more prominent, like in his stool. Is this a different type of hemroid, or something completely different?

It could be haemorrhoids but it could also be an anal fissue (a small tear). Get it checked out by a doctor. In the meantime eat plenty of fruit and veg to keep your motions soft and easy to pass.

Bright red blood either in your stool or visible when you clean is an indication of hemorrhoids. There are several kinds. Some are internal meaning they never protrude out of the anus and there are the external hemorrhoids that are visible. Both can be painful. Both can itch. There can either be a little blood or a lot depending on the size of the hemorrhoid.

If the blood is a much darker red (more of a blackish brown) then it could be an indication of a serious colon or other intestinal problem.

Either way I really think you should go to the doctor and find out for sure.

Yes, it's very possible that it's hemorroids. It could just be that you don't have as severe a case as your friend did. Generally, hemorroids are just as you described, with pain and a slight streak of blood. When it becomes bad enough to be noticed on the stool, then they've become pretty serious. Try some preperation H and see if that clears it up. If it doesn't, or becomes more severe, then visit a doctor right away.

Go to the drug store and buy some liquid gel stool softeners since your stools may be hard and that will cause the pain . They are inexpensive and using them every day will help . Hemorrhoids can be inside , outside or both . At any rate this will help in relieving some of the pain from hemorrhoids also since there will be less strain during a bowel movement. Make sure you get plenty of fluids and fiber in your diet also.

Frank blood (red blood) indicates bleeding in the lower bowel, and is most often associated with hemorrhoids. However, it can indicate other conditions so you should have this checked by a doctor.

Very dark/black stool would indicated bleeding higher in the GI tract - the black tarry nature of the stool shows that blood has been digested in the higher part of the bowel.

I think this is a serious question for a doctor, go and schedule an appointment. But yes a chance of a hemroid, or infection.

Generally the blood from a hemorrhoid is bright red in color. And yes, defecation with hemorrhoid can be painful. you should consult your family Dr. He can do tests that can check for frank blood ( bright red in color, visible to the eye ) or occult blood ( can only be detected by lab ). Occult blood would indicate some sort of GI bleeding, and needs to be treated ASAP. The fact that you have pain and visible blood on deification would most likely indicate either hemorrhoids or some sort of anal fistula.

I know this might be a bit embarrassing for you, but a quick check with the doc might be a really good plan. Chances are it might be a haemorrhoid - but there are so many "could be's and possibles" that asking us "lay folks" to make a medical diagnosis on your hoop is a bit risky.

Please see someone who can take a quick look rather than make a wild guess.

Sounds dumb, but you may want to check out your toilet paper. Often the industrial toilet paper is pretty damn cheap and easily tends to cause abrasions to the delicate tissue. I only say this because it happened to me before on a week long excursion. Once I came back, the problem seemed to fix itself. Obsiously, if you don't want to dismiss going to the doctor on my behalf. This is just an option.

Cheers.

Sounds like an anal tear in the skin. Nothing major. Try not to eat too many "laxitive" things and it will get better in a few days.
