A direct flight would take about 9 hours. These are usually to Gatwick Airport. Flights to Heathrow airport stop in Chicago before continuing to London. The whole journey takes about 12 hours.

Don't forget, there are four major international airports in London, UK. If you are refering to London, Ontario then I apologise.
It takes between 8-10 hours. It passes quickly. You can watch a couple of movies or read a book.
