If you use Microsoft Build In Windows recorder, you could have a lot of problems with your Antivirus.

But most probably it comes from the medias, your burner is quite old, and new blanks CD are 48x, the chemical is to different for your burner, it didn't recognize the media...
Try to find 32x discs

And if you use a recording solution like Nero (usually sold with burner) it could be a problem of blank discs (for some commercial reasons, burners were (and still are) limited to specific brands of blank discs)

Check also if you have the last firmware.

Warning, it could destroy your burner, if you don't do it properly (but as long you don't do anything else during update, there will be no problem)

Last is it internal or external ? In case of external it could be a problem of Power... but I bet on medias problems.

LOL. you're fake effect the time era burning a cd. you at the instant are not meant to truly burn the cd you could desire to have a cd burner on your computing gadget that copies the learning from one cd to the sparkling one in the different slot. It does not actaully burn the cd because of the fact it would do precisely the comparable factor as what's occurring to you. do no longer difficulty I take issues actually lots too.

If you've had it a while, it's possible it's just burned out, so to speak. I had that problem about a year ago and just bought a new burner.
