When coming off the bus i got hit in the head with a newspaper, to my surprise when i looked up i saw a gang of 'chavs' peering out the window, shouting at me. he had just chucked a paper at me! and for what reason i have no idea. its not as if i provoked them or dress in a perculiar way. why is this? and for what reason?
All i can say is that they are weak and cowards. they would not have done it without them being in a gang. why is society deteriorating to the extent of people resorting to violence and other forms of aggression?

They give the child every thing they want, and rarely if ever discipline the child. If there is no teaching of right and wrong in the home, then there is no hope that that person will behave properly when he or she grows up. There is significant research available that claims that many of today's social problems begin in the home with lack of parenting and discipline. Unfortunately, that translates to the problem you experienced.
A person will do whatever they think they can get away with.
