What about the other computer beside laptop, Do they can do the same?
(Especially The computer that put on the table and difficult to move and not portable) i don't know its name.

Same. System restore is a function of the windows operating system...not the pc type or style

now you want to do a system restore on that pc go da same way

start> all programs menu > Accessories > system tools> system restore.

The system can be restored in all computers the same provided the o/s is preloaded by the hard ware manufacturer/supplier and he gives the cd for pc restore.

If it has Windows XP installed. Most likely it has the same features.
This should be used as a last resort though.
Unless a virus has been passed to laptop/notebook and desktop or vice-versa then you shouldn't need to restore.

NOTE: WINDOWS RESTORE BACKS UP ALL DATA INCLUDING VIRUSES. USE WITH CAUTION.

system restore is a last ditch effort to get your computer up and running enough to backup files before doing a complete formatt and reload
