"Jessie" is a hit Piano rock single from the album Painted Desert Serenade, released in 1993. The song was performed by Joshua Kadison who wrote the song dealing with the break-up with the actress Sarah Jessica Parker.

The name of the song is "Jessie" by Joshua Kadison. There's a followup to it on the same album "Painted Desert Serenade" where he is Jessie is comforting him. Awesome album!
You should also listen to "Beautiful In My Eyes." It's one of the best love songs I've ever heard and it's also on the same album. It address the maturity of a long lasting relationship in a way I've never heard done in a song anywhere else.
