I'm sure there is a medieval ritual involving this, maybe it came out of the Black Plague age or something, to ward off evil spirits. That must be where the expression came from, "You can't swing a dead cat without hitting..."

Not that I'm aware of, but this certainly made me laugh! Do you have to fling it as far as you can, too? Do you swing it above your head while standing still, or do you swing it in a circle round and round? How long do you swing? Is there a time limit or number of revolutions? Funny, thanks for the laugh
