It all depends on how you count your months, some women do it where 4 weeks = 1 months therefore making pregnancy ten months long. I'm sure that's what she means, doctors in the past decade or two wouldn't let you go past two weeks overdue, now most of them won't even do that. Like I said, depends on how you look at it.

I have three daughters my self and I know that you are concidered full term when you are 40 weeks.And people seem to think that it's "9 months" for pregnancy but it's actually 10 b/c you dont give birth at 36 weeks...that would be only 9 months on the dot.Most women give birth at the very end of their 9th month which technically would be 10 months.I actually gave birth at 41w with my 1st,41w with my 2nd, and 39 w with my 3rd.Go figure...

A normal pregnancy is 40 weeks and if you go by lunar calendar which is 28 days in a month then yes, women are pregnant for 10 months.

A normal pregnancy is about 40 weeks - or 10 months. After that, they have to watch carefully because the placenta can start deteriorating rapidly.

my mother carried me for 11months my due date was dec 27 and my birthday is feb 24, there was a mix up with hospital transfer and both hospitals assumed i was born, i was a health 7pound 1 and im now 19 with no health problems, alot of people dont belive my story but its true
