Franz Ferdinand.

not the band, the archduke. he was killed in 1914, and thats what set off the chain of events leading to WWI. if WWI wouldnt have taken place, the social and ecological climate of europe would have been totally different in the following years, and WWII may not have taken place, or, at least would have happened very differently. countries right now would not be the countries they are, as many nations were greatly redivided following the wars.

the interesting thing is that Ferdinand wasnt what most ppl would consider a "Major Player" in the world, and most ppl still dont know who he is today, but he made a huge difference in the world, just by being assassinated.

The Buddha taught all those issues long in the previous the situations of any meant Jesus. Hindu Scriptures lots older than the Buddhas teachings flow alongside the comparable lines. there's no longer any good evidence that a historic religious Jesus ever even existed, historians like Josephus have been born after Jesus' meant dying. If a historic Jesus did exist, he may be particularly distinctive than modern visions, because of the fact the church has replaced and butchered the religion many situations for the era of its history to income converts.

Thomas Crapper. Imagine a world without toilets!

Sounds like a facetious answer but I'm only half joking. I think the sewage system is the most under-rated invention ever. There've been literally millions of lives saved through disease prevention.

This is a very tough one to answer as it relates specifically to a wide genre of cultures. Political, economical etc. One that rings for me is Richard McDonald, founder of the McDonald's' food chain.

The creation of McDonald's caused a widespread economical change in North America. The ideals that McDonald's was based on prompted society to look for the same values in time management, cost efficiency and unfortunately in quality to.

When you think about it, virtually every business in North America is based on the ideology that McDonald's introduced back in the 50's as has been a root cause of the economic boom of the 60's leading to the substantial growth of today. Many business leaders would agree that if the model used for the success of McDonald's was not introduced back then, we would not be at the point of cultural stature we are today.

Whether or not you love or hate McD's, they have had a vast influence on our social structure. Probably one of the first prominent figures you remember from TV is Ronald McDonald.

Or it could be Elvis.... (He liked McDonald's)

Hitler because The Holocaust would've never happened and Martin Luther King, Jr. and Rosa Parks because the dark colored people wouldn't of had many of the rights that they have today.
