I am 25 and will never get a tattoo. I think they make a pretty girl (who is not white trash) look trashy. No matter where or what it is. How pretty can someone look in a wedding dress and sport a tattoo? Even hidden ones are trashy yuck yuck yuck don't permanently ruin your pretty body

I don't have a tattoo, basically because it's a sin.

It says in Leviticus chapter 19, verse 28:
Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord.

I have two teenage daughters and they are shown through scripture that it is a sin. They don't think its beautiful on a girl anyway, they say it makes girls look rough and it hides the beauty of the skin.

But........To each its own..........

i was 18 when i got my first. im 36 now and have 4, planning on getting 5th. i dont have any children, but if i did and they wanted to get tattooed, i would insist that they wait until at least 18.

FYI crazykahlua, im not trashy, nor do i appear trashy. i am married and proudly showed my ink on my wedding day in my wedding gown. my husband doesnt judge me, nor do my friends.
