It depends on who you look at. i have seen some women with naturally thick, long eye lashes. Many of these women have nice eye lashes because of heredity, healthy eating, and applying eye lash oil.
I've seen men with skimpy eye lashes too. but they don't complain.
Long, curled eye lashes make your eyes look bigger. And that makes you look younger and fresh faced. Since youth is prized along with beauty, that is why women with long, curled eye lashes whether fake or real, are seen as very attractive.
This is similar with how a thick lush head of hair is desired for men. True, a great deal of men go bald when they get older, and yes it is a FEMALE trait to not go bald with age, yet keeping one's hair is socially desirable for men. That is why they sell Rogaine. You look younger if you keep your hair, as far as men go. And you are seen as more healthy and handsome.

Me and my [long eye lashed] boyfriend wonder why all the time... he says its because they dont but mascara and things like that on them... but when i was younger... i didnt and they were as short as can be! I have no idea... I hope you find the answer cuz im wondering too! ^_^

Hmmm I'm always asked by the girls how do i got so long eyelashes. My answer: Absolutely nothing....i'm not a girl you know (to wear make-up, or to arange them) , and i aint gay either.... So to answer your question some of us guys have longer eyelashes so we can have the attention of cute and nice girls... like you.... ;)

me being a guy and all, i have to say i have never seen a man with as long eyelashes as a woman but i can tell you this, long eyelashes on women give more physical appearence to the eyes giving a more fuller look...thus making it attractive to look at.

Cos if girls had long eyelashes the mascara companies would lose out drastically. Life is just unfair for us girls but at least some people benefit from our misfortune.......

Because they are just lucky bastards. lol. They dont have a monthly either. Damn that Eve for eating that stupid apple. That was the moment in which God decreed that half the length of Eve's eyelashes be transferred to Adam, and it was so. LOL. i crack me up.

i think maybe all the chemicals in our make-up makes them loose their growth... since men never or rarely use make-up... they will have longer lashes... the same is with those girls who never wore make-up until they were 20....so they have longer to grow them...
