Before you do anything, check out the local filipino community and see if they can help with advice.
If you want to go there, do your homework on where you're going. If, for example you intend to settle in Palawan or Mindoro the chances are you'll get kidnapped unless you have bodyguards. Manila is OK but again, areas are dangerous expecially at night. Best option is somewhere like Baggio, Tagatay, Quezon City or Angeles City. you can live very well there on a monthly income of £400, as long as your accomodation is paid for, i.e you own a decent house. Remember the PI is a developing country so theres no constant electricity, Water is pulled up from a deep well and utilities are unreliable.
English is very widely spoken in PI, mostly at basic level but certainly enough so you don't have to learn Tagalog. The traffic, corruption and way of life suits some, but not all. Best advice is to go there a few times yourself, bring her here on a tourist Visa a couple of times (you need to provide funds in her A/C for that) and go from there.
Make sure you have all the Visa regs sorted out, an overstay makes her persona non grata. for you ging there , there are visa rules but there are ways around it through corruption.
If she comes here and improves her English then she can qualify for a work permit after 2 years (I think) and find gainful employment. Local filipino communities are very helpful and easy to find, pin a notice up in your local hospital where there are probably numerous Filipino nurses, or simply ask someone.
Also, if you bring her here she will want to call home all the time (boredom, homesickness) so get a load of cheap international phonecards.
Good luck

Tropic of Cancers answer is quite good. I propose you verify the homestead place of work internet internet site to confirm the standards are up as much as now. I married interior the Philippines final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, or maybe following all the guidelines I spent 5 months over there attempting to get homestead with my spouse, regardless of the shown fact that i think of it must be achieved in 3. that's straight forward to get married over there (regardless of the shown fact that pay attention for bribes), regardless of the shown fact that that's somewhat useful to take a CNI, certificates of no obstacle with you to maintain time. i don't comprehend if a targeted visitor gets NHS scientific care, yet a spouse somewhat does- even on the two 3 hundred and sixty 5 days momentary visa which she is first issued. This technique is costly, you're charged by potential of the two governments, and there is not any thank you to dodge it. that's proper to be taught the guidelines and adjust to them- it somewhat is the quickest direction. After 2 years you ought to pay for an indefinite pass away visa, and then after that returned for British citizenship. there is not any way out i'm afraid. good success.

Can you find work there? If so, it might be nice to live there for a while. But if you are settled here, and she is willing, then it is probably the safer bet to move her here. You should both learn the other person's language too, as it will be useful in the future.

it really depends about who is working between the two of you. if you are the one, then she has no choice but to be uprooted and vice-versa. let's be practical here. but it doesn't mean you won't let her visit her country if money and time permits.
