If people just respected others there would be no need for it anyway.

Sometimes yo have to hold your breath and count to ten ! where PC society is concerned.. These do gooders are well meaning and sometimes right!, but more often wrong and press issues which really ought to be left well alone.. The red poppy is the symbol used to spark our memories of tragic days gone by and long may it remain to be used so that we don't forget just how awful war was/is.. For those do gooders who preach change they ought to stop and think just for a minute and understand that they are wrong!!

Just read some of the answers to your question.......seems like everyone blames the 'do-gooders' and I agree. If, as we all do, you want to put the brakes on ridiculous political correctness, you, I and everyone else need to find out, just 'who' these do-gooders are. Personally, I think they lurk in the background, in all areas of life in the UK, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were actually an organised body of people, with the sole aim of ruining a once great country.

Sorry 'bout the language but I think the only answer is to just take the piss out of it all, and ALL THE TIME TOO !! Bloody do-gooders poking their two pennorth in all the time. It's a pity they've nothing better to do, so the more they get ridiculed the better. Yes? It's white poppies today I see, so what shite is it going to be tomorrow - Blue Stilton, Red Leicester, Pink Champagne..............

The thing is to fight back at them, and not keep quiet as we tend to do until it is too late. These politically correct things are dreamed up by pen pushing liberals who sit in an office with nothing to do, and who haven't a clue about life on the outside, trying to justify their jobs. They cause more of the racial tensions by demeaning every thing British and trying to promote other races and religions ahead of our way of life. If left to ourselves, all races would integrate themselves without conflicts eventually.
