I've seen it in the drug store. What's it used for? Do you recommend it for nasal congestion? Does you infant like it? Just curious about whether I should try it or not...

I use it when my daughter is congested. It is wonderful. We put it on her chest, back and bottoms of her feet before bed. Make sure to put warm pj's and socks on their feet though and as soon as they wake up in the morning be sure to wash it off. The vicks opens the pores in the skin and going outside without washing it off could cause pneumonia or the flu.

I've used the Johnson and Johnson cream that you rub on their chests, and it works. At night, we used a vapourizer and added some vicks oil to the water. You can find it sold beside the vapourisers, and with the vicks products in the pharmancy. It makes the whole room smell, and helps with congestion at night more than just a vapouriser alone.

Johnsons has a baby cream that is suitable and I use for my child, it's a less smelly. I use it when she has a cold and rub it on her feet and put socks on her. Not for nasal congestion though, you should try a child's version of saline, it works.

i bought it about a year ago when my friend's baby was real congested. she was crying so hard because she couldn't really breath and that just made matters work. obviously follow the directions, but we put that stuff on her chest and seriously within minutes she had calmed down. i was honestly shocked. i didn't think it would work but we were out of ideas.

It works great for decongesting you child. Obviously follow the instructions and I find it works best my rubbing a bit on sheets/pillowcase or blanket, although I think you can rub in onto a childs chest as in an adult.

Snufflebabes is good too, as well as karvol.

i used the vics vaporizer, and it seemed to work really well. it's mainly for chest congestion, but i think it works for nasal congestion, too

I have used it and it works very well. You rub a little on a babies chest and it helps ease breathing problems, coughs, etc and helps everyone get a good nights sleep - highly recommended. Also try olbus oil.

Vick's BabyRub is for congestion. I've used it on both of my kids. Try it out. It's good.

It's a mild version of the adult rub. It has Eucelyptus, rosemary and lavender instead of menthol. It's less smelly but seems to work great.
