I dont know for sure...seems like anything uncomfortable might not be the best thing. Either way, it might look pretty funny if you are far along. A lot of women can not even walk normally with just one of those handicaps....but having a belly AND in heels....good luck.

Yes, you can definitely wear them.... :) I wore heels to work until 38 weeks. (I'm home now till baby comes, so no point wearing 'em anymore). For granted, I haven't worn my high ones since maybe 5 mos, but I still wore my 2-inch ones. Your center of gravity does shift making it a tad difficult, hence why I started wearing my lower ones (but I really had no problems walking or keeping my balance). I made do cause I wasn't about to go and buy all kinds of cute flats that I know I'll never wear again after this pregnancy. I'm a high-heel gal. :) Its all a matter of your personal preference and what your body can handle... But... If you get swollen bad, lay off the heels. On swollen days, heels don't help. :) Oh and I'm short too... so I get the heels bit. :) Good Luck with the rest of your pregnancy & enjoy your heels as long as you like!

I wouldn't wear them on a daily basis. If your tummy is getting big, your center of gravity will shift and upset your balance. I almost bit the dust several times wearing flat shoes. Heels can put pressure on your legs resulting in varicose veins. They could make your feet swell also. If you want to wear them for a special event like a wedding or a party, go ahead, but sit down as much as possible. Try to opt for something more stable...a wedge or a chunky heel rather than a spiky stilleto.

Probably not the smartest thing to do. Many women have a problem with their feet reatining water during pregnancy, and High Heels would not only be very painful, but they would also further slow down the blood circulation which has already been stifled from the water retention.

Yes it is ok to wear high heels during pregnancy. I did it and there was nothing wrong with my baby.So who ever told you that was not telling the truth.

It's up to you. I did when I was smaller but once you start to get "front heavy" I would stick to flats or there is a better chance you could fall or twist your ankle. Plus when your feet start to swell they won't be very comfy. Plus when your pregnant comfy is better than trying to look good.

its okay, but your centre of gravity changes making you wobbly anyway. I am 5 months along and my feet hurt enough now to wince at the thought, and all I wear are comfy shoes!

Not really. It causes you to be out of balance as your pregnancy advances. This in turn could cause you to fall.
