I'm visiting a friend in Tampa in December. I've been there before and always found it incredibly boring! What are some fun/cultural things to do in Tampa? Is the theater good in Tampa? I'm also always up for good Puerto Rican, Cuban or East Indian restaurants.

Cape Canaveral is on the other coast, Tampa is on the west coast. I don't see how the Tampa area is boring, there is alot to do. I am actuallty going to Busch Gardens next weekend because I live two hours away. Go to their chamber of commerce's website for more information on what to do that fits your tastes.

Busch Gardens theme park is great. Take a trip to Cape Canaveral (sp?) and visit NASA headquarters.

maybe go to the aquarium near port of Tampa the port right across the street from aquarium
