Sure did, across street in the hay field. Also get up on the old hay loaves and jump off of them. I'd stay out there all day because I couldn't stand to be around my "raging" parents. Except for the house, it was no "little house on the prairie" Love the old "living in the sticks" memory questions. Thanks.

I went sledding in a field, never a pasture.
I never had to worry about being frozen- winter isn't my favorite season and I don't care for snow, so I usually only stayed outside a few minutes before heading back in for some hot cocoa.

as a kid I loved playing out in the snow, but I had chronic ear infections so mom would let me go out much.
