The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) offers a trip planner on their website. You can also access a system map and schedules. Also, you can call the Regional Transit Authority (RTA) at 836-7000 (from any Chicago area code - 773, 312, 708, etc.) and an operator can help you. Good luck!

How about going to the closest bus stop and asking a bus driver or a waiting rider. Start there. Or even call directory assistance,411 for the local metro's travel phone number

A donkey would be the best way to get around. Since donkeys are hard to come by in the windy city though the "L" train would be the best and cheapest way.
