Well, she now claims it was just a joke. Regardless of whether it was a joke or not, I think it was still inappropriate. This was Carrie Underwood's time to shine and be in the spotlight, not Faith Hill's time to make a joke.

I think it was just a joke gone bad because it is not like her to do something like that. But then again, she claims she didn't know she was on camera. How can you not? You're Faith Hill at the CMA's and you might be about to win Female Vocalist of the Year. She spoke with Carrie Underwood afterwards and Carrie wasn't offended and took it as a joke. If Faith was really upset she probably would have kept ranting and raving and we would have heard about that by now.

I was very surprised she would even do something like that jokingly. Its not her image and from everything I am reading it brought her image down a peg or two. I really like her, but it was most likely a joke gone bad.

it was tacky and wasnt really even her style
it didnt seem like something in her character at all. what a dumb thing to do it wasnt funny!

I thought it was supposed to be a joke, because I've never seen her act badly before..it's not her forte, and people took it wrong.
