now with the question of what is better ps2 or xbox, that depends on who you ask (i prefer xbox because of xbox live) but Xbox 360 is the best console system out on the market at the time because it has dual core processor (like two brains instead of one) and it has a very nice video processor too. you cannot play xbox 360 games on an original xbox you have to buy xbox 360 (or you can go with emulation). I suggest you get an original xbox if you get xbox live because if you ge the ps2 i know that the single player part of the system is very boring after a while....but if you get an xbox then you NEED to buy xbox live because that is the best way to play it!

Xbox is better than a ps2 but ps2 has more games and online play is free. Also xbox games will play on an xbox 360. Ps2's are really cheap now aswell, along with xboxs.

Xbox will not play 360 games, but the 360 will play Xbox games.
Xbox has slightly better graphics than the PS2
PS2 is just more fun(I think)

x box 360 is awesome, but the games don't play on the regular x box...ps2 is good, but you can't play online-which is fun
