There are some interesting factors. It does appear that liberalism is tied to about 20% of the population from birth. It also seems to run in families. Over the years stats have shown that there are some interesting, identifiable traits of the liberal population.

Regardless of race and sex, liberals tend to have higher IQ's than the average population. For instance, virtually no one with an IQ above 155 self-identifies themself as conservative. That begs the question - are liberals smarter than conservatives or does being intelligent make you a liberal?

Further, as a function of population liberals tend to stay married longer, live longer, live healthier, enjoy more personal satisfaction, be more creative, and be wealthier than people who self-identify as conservative or moderate. In short, liberals tend to be open-minded, happy, satisfied people.

I think it's quite interesting!

Yes the more secure and magnanimous our personalities the more liberal we are. But that is a generalization that doesn't fit everyone of course.

I doubt it, because people change their thinking all the time. It's enviromental, how we are raised and what influences our lives
