i also wonder
the swing 2 the democrats must re-new some faith in democracy, doesn't it?
lets hope the next US election is a darn-sight uncontroversial as the last!
i didn't realise u could influence the vote that easily with money u can buy the presidency, regardless of votes, strategy or qualifications!
more missing votes/voters, hanging chads & more corruption, can't possibly b accepted again,
can it?
i'm in the UK and Bush scares the hell outta of us Brits.
Bush Part 3 ( Jed or whoever ) would probably kill off democracy 4 good!

I wish people would realize that the opportunity to vote does not make a state a democracy, if that vote does not change a thing, even if it has been intended to by a majority of the voters.
Democracy means the rule of the common(!) people, not the rule of a small political class and a handfull of billionaires.
Good luck to you.

Where have you been?! We've had democracy all along! Have you lived in a country that doesn't have democracy?! You wouldn't be whining about anything that goes on here if you did!

GAWD, I hope not!!!!
Our form of government is a REPUBLIC! It was founded as a Republic. The ppl who wrote and ratified the Constitution were dead set against democracy. When you recite the pledge of allegiance you say ... and to the Republic for which it stands...
A lynch mob is a democracy.

It is sad. We have been through years of painful turmoil from unethical democrats mowing down American values and institutions, and insulting us with lies, just to get back into power.
Years. I hope the vote brings us domestic peace. The whiners are where they want to be. Now will they please stop gnashing their teeth like they have something to say?

the persons have been vote casting themselves money for a protracted time now, and then utilising that money to purchase extra votes, persevering with the cycle. conserving Wall highway bankers responsible is the only way we are able to cease that.
