I don't think that you should do anything. Its natural...and to be honest, aren't you glad that you caught her pleasing herself instead of a boy pleasing her?

How would you feel if you came across this question from your 15 year old daughter only about catching you? Don't think about it. Be sure to keep the lines of communication open enough so that if she ever has questions about sex or birth control you can give her information or help or whatever she needs.

Don't say anything to her that's her right. I would be happy to know that she was doing it herself instead of out with someone doing it. You probably need to give her more privacy or if she wasn't in a private area such as the bathroom or her bedroom you may just want to say to her I saw you masterbating and I would appreciate it if you would only do that in a private room. or something to that context.

This happened to my best friend in high school and her parents made her talk to the family priest! Needless to say, it scared her for life. She's totally uptight about sex and hasn't had a decent relationship. Let it go! You may want to casually tell her at some point if she ever has any questions about sex, to feel free to talk to you. Other than that, don't humiliate her or yourself by forcing the issue.

Would you rather catch her pleasing herself or catch her letting some lil punk attempt to do it?
So what, she is masturbating, let it go, at least you know where she is, what she's doing and you arent worried she is out in the back of a car catching an std, and you arent becoming a young grandma!

I don't understand why you're confused that a 15 year old girl would be masturbating.

Masturbation is healthy, natural and good for your daughter. As long as you don't catch her naked in bed with a boy at this age then you don't need to make an issue of it. You can still discuss her feelings with her and explain to her where it is appropriate to masturbate and where its not..(Example: Its not appropriate to masturbate on the couch in the living room. It is, however okay to do it in your own bedroom or in the shower)

Oh and definitley don't make it a big weird issue because it will embarass her, make her feel uncomfortable, and she'll probably lash out in some way.

She'll be fine. She's probably been masturbating for years. I know I started at 11. I know scientist or doctors will say that children masturbate as early as their toddler stages but what I mean by masturbation is the fact that you REALIZE what you're doing to yourself and why you're doing it.

I feel that you should sit down and talk to her about her body and the changes shes going through. If yu dont then pleasing herself would get old for her and then shell want someone else to start pleasing her. Tell her its normal but also tell her what happens after it gets old

What ever you do don't tell her that you know,it's just going to embarress her! Then she probably will loose confidence in you ,when it comes to real boy problems. You just should leave it like that, only untill you see her dissapearing from home for a few hours with out knowing her where abouts.

Don't do anything. It will embarrass the life out of her if she finds out that you know! Don't even talk about it! Just let it go! She will just get angry at you and say that you are "spying" on her.

Don't say anything. It's normal. Why embarrass her any more? Let me put it this way, aren't you glad you caught her pleasuring herself, instead of someone else pleasuring her?
