The Broker was not a typical Grisham legal thriller. It was much more focused on character development and the setting (small towns in Italy) than the other books of his that were adapted for the screen. It also had little legal content, the suspense being much more of the spy thriller sort. Nonetheless, given Grisham's rabid following, the higher quality of the writing in this novel, and the allure of the Italian setting, I wouldn't be surprised to see it become a movie.

Samantha H:
I've read the book. But I'm prejudiced. I love all John Grisham's books and I believe that all his material could be movies. The Broker is so typical of what goes on in the nation's center. As long as Mr. Grisham continues to live and write, I will continue to read and appreciate his material. He is good!!
