I'm talking to the die hard conservatives and republicans. offer up some evidence that the Democrats will run this country any worse than your "Grand ol' Party".

and at the start, I must remind everyone that the Republicans have been in control (of the House and Senate) for the last 12 years. Do you think they've run it smoothly and capably?

Also, I am neither Republican or Democrat. I'm just a firm beiliever that when someone is doing a crappy job, they need to be replaced.

Amnesty for 30 million illegals making it possible for 120 million more of their family members to come here. All accepting jobs at the new minimum wage, which will in turn cause price adjustments across the board, businesses will fold or not be able to hire, and we will be stuck with them all on welfare.(One example)

I think you're right to a degree, certainly the Democrats can't do any worse than the republican congress has these past 12 years. it's not always about what right for you and your beliefs, but what is right for the country. Our divisive 2 party system, pits americans against each other, when we should focus on the greater good, what would be best for our country as a whole.

Too much focus is put on which "team" you side with, instead of who is going to be the best candidate for the job. I'm in the middle politically, niether rebuplican or democrat, and I think it's high time people started using their heads and voting in 3rd party candidates, so some actual change can take place, and we can move away from the arcahic two party system in this country.

People just like to read what they typed and see it posted on a forum. Makes them feel like their opinion matters, even if they have no Idea what they are arguing about. Take me for example:

I'm going to like the demon rats until they screw up. Then when they do screw up (Hillary gets caught at one of those Eyes wide shut parties or something ) i'm going to say the demon rats are doing a terrible job, and it is time the repubicannibals take over. Then when they take over, and George Bush III is caught giving a hummer Bill Clinton, I'm gonna say thats it, SOCIALIST PARTY SOCIALIST PARTY.

now I feel important.

I'm not a USian, but some names do ring a bell.
Carter was a complete disaster as president. He turned US allies into enemies.
Clinton was a bad joke who bombed people to take attention away from his mistresses.
Reagan was a dangerous man who could be trusted to keep his word. He helped free east europe from under the soviet boot.
Bush senior- a good man to have as backup. Abit too fast to call a victory though.
Bush junior- the jury is still out, but so far he's doing quite well. Not perfect maybe, but well enough considering the hooplah made by internal dissenters.
SFAIK the good guys are all Reps, and the bad guys are all Dems. Did I miss any?
As to congress, the worst ever congress was a Dem controlled one, who gave south Vietnam to be devoured by the Commies. End result- 4 milion dead, and these Dems are actually proud of it.
I might have missed somehing, but give me Republicans any day.

It is true that when someone is doing a crappy job, he or they need to be replaced, but not by others who are just as bad, if not worse.

The military cuts, the intelligence cuts, and the Groelick wall during the Clinton administration all lead to 911. I consider that to be a HUGE screw up.

The republicans are anal retentive spoiled rotten people. They always want things their way and if they don't get it they cry....I have seen nothing great happen in the last 12 years to write home about. NOW......things are going to change for the much, much better...We have spoken.
