It probably is. You could call your doctor just to make sure but when you stop taking the pill your hormones are so screwed up that anything can happen with your cycle. Good luck on becoming pregnant, congratulations when you do!

it is normal to have some bleeding after you go off of the pill or other birth controls since while on these types of medications they release hormones that "trick' your body into believing you are pregnant so your body sees no need into releasing another egg( ovulation) when you stop the hormones released from the pill are no longer in your body and your body thinks of almost as a miscarriage.. so you'll spot for a few day then you should have your regular period again when you normally exspect it. also give your body a few months to get back in sync, periods might be a little irregular , heavy or lighter than they use to be. then again they might return to "normal" next period. start taking prenatal vitamins now even if it takes you 6 months or longer to conseive either way best of luck!

Yes, Its normal. I also left the pill in the middle of my cycle last month and experienced some bleeding. However, I then got my period 2 weeks after that again.
It seems that your body does take a while to adjust.
Good luck though.

Yes it is! I was on a 3 month cycle (got my period every 3 months). Whenever you quit taking your pills (miss a day or 2) you will bleed. In fact, you aren't taking anything but sugar pills on your period week. They are basically just called reminder pills, they help keep you taking something every day, but, do nothing to protect you from pregnancy.

It is normal. The best way to avoid it is to stop taking them when you have finished a complete pack so that you won't disrupt your normal cycle. You could pregnant as early as a your next ovulation but depending on how long you were on the pill it could take months. Just be patient.

yes it is. within a short few days it will start a flow, as if you were on your "off" week set of pills. Use other form of birth control for a few months to be sure your system is clear of the residual hormones, as to not harm the baby when you do become pregnant.

Doctors recommend waiting three months after going off the pill to try and conceive. You will have to use other methods in the meantime.
