You can't. That is how they track your employment and how much you earn. That is how they know what to base the amount of credit given to you.
If you are a U.S. citizen, you were born with a social security number. Contact your local Social Security branch and they can re-issue you a S.S. card.

Get the Soc Sec card first, then apply for the Credit Card . No problem !
