I am a busy busy businessman with no time to stop.

I multitask my burp into my soda-drinking schedule. That's right I do them both at the same time...

okay it some times leaks out of nose, but that is the price you pay for being co-ordinated and effective in this competitive global market place.

Yes it happens with any carbonated soft drinks or beverages.
You should avoid these beverages as much as possible because the bubbles may cause severe pain, and will enhance burping. Also, soda can be a source of empty calories which can affect weight loss. You will likely miss out on a more nutritious beverage like non fat milk by consuming these high calorie beverages. Soda is also a significant source of caffeine Caffeinated beverages such as coffee and tea should be okay in moderation unless you experience reflux; then caffeine can make this condition worse. Too much of anything, including caffeine, can have side effects. Caffeine is a stimulant, and it can interfere with the absorption of some key nutrients.

My 5-year-old daughter burps after every drink of soda, especially in public. For some reason I can't burp. I burp approximately twice a year. I try to burp I just can't.

Always, it's the carbonation.

Try this if you want more of a laugh factor. While laying down as much as possible without making a complete mess, drink pop from a can or bottle. Sit up and wait a few seconds. It's hilarious the 'air time' you can get.

Sometimes, it depends on what kind of soda it is (Dr. Pepper always makes me burp) and how fast I drank it.

Yep. It's the carbonation in the soda. Wouldn't your stomach be all bloated if you didn't release that gas?
