perhaps you should try being friendlier. try smiling and talking to people. you'd be surprised what a difference a smile makes. and even if people talk about you, it's inconsequential, who cares. i don't give a tiny rats a.ss if people talk about me, i cant think of a better topic of conversation anyway! lololololol

If it's about jealousy. You know sometimes you just have to ignore them if you can and let them talk. Cuz people are going to talk about you. People have talked about me, they talk about you, him, her and them.

By allowing it to bother you, they are winning.
No one can make you feel bad if you do not allow them to do so.
If what they say is legally considered slander, have them charged, otherwise allow it to slide off your back.
