I can see if you get wrapped up in all the retail bulldog that you would feel that way. I love this time of year, not for the gifts, but because I get to spend time with people I don't get to see very often, make crafts and bake with my kids. I love it! I also find the music a nice change from the rest of the year.

Christmas is my favorite time of year, so I don't think I could pick just one:
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas - Judy Garland (she's got such a beautiful voice)
White Christmas - Bing Crosby (One of my favorite movies)
Home for the Holidays - Perry Como has a great version
Carol of the Bells - with or without the words, it's just a great song.
Also any Christmas hymn i.e. Silent Night, O Little Town of Bethlehem, O Holy Night, etc.

I love Deck the Halls. When I was a wee little thing we used to go caroling and I thought the words were, "Deck the halls with bowels of holly".
Also, I love Silent Night but I never could figure out who "Round John Virgin" was;, until I got a lot older and read the lyrics.

My favorite Christmas song is "Silent Night" when I hear this song it takes me back to my childhood....Many good memories.
