Wilt Chamberlain is much better than Kareem and even Shaq. He won too many championships, and he also is the only player to have a triple-double-double. Meaning he once had over 20 points in the 3 statistical categories. The man was a legend and a machine

Hakeem Olajuwon(Rockets) was one of the best shot blockers of all time, in fact he holds the record for most blocked shots in a career. Also Olajuwon was drafted 1st overall in the same draft that MJ was picked 3rd. Olajuwon also lead Houson to win back to back championships. One of those championships was against Shaq and the Orlando Magic, which Houston swept that series. But if I have to go with Bill Russel (celtics) simply because he has 11, yes 11 championship rings, to me that is incredable.

Hello! You mean CENTER?
That would be Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, you are correct!

6 TIME NBA Champion Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

All-Defensive Second Team; 19-time All-Star; One

From another Great Champion to another:
"Why judge anymore? When a man has broken records, won championships, endured tremendous criticism and responsibility, why judge? Let's toast him as the greatest player ever."

-- Pat Riley

Abdul-Jabbar's retirement marked the end of an era for the NBA. He left the game as the games all-time scorer, which may never be surpassed, with 38,387 points (24.6 ppg), 17,440 rebounds (11.2 rpg), 3,189 blocks, and a .559 field-goal percentage from a career that spanned 20 years and 1,560 games. Since retiring, Abdul-Jabbar has worked in the entertainment business, served as a "basketball ambassador," working in various capacities such as a coach and broadcaster as well as helped to fight hunger and illiteracy. In 1995 Abdul-Jabbar was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Eleven titles in thirteen seasons, how could I not say BILL RUSSEL!!! He's gotta be one of the smartest centers to ever play the game and he mastered the art of winning! Bill Russel's attitude on and off the court and his overall contributions to the sport after his retire makes him a great ambassador for the sport!
