are you male or female? We always hired a boy to babysit our son as we felt he could idenify more together, it always worked out great and anymore it pays really well. We had a boy that would ride bikes with our son, took him to the pond things like that and he looked forward to him coming to the house. Also, if it snows go to older peoples homes and people you know cannot get out, offer to shovel snow or go to the store for them, I think there could be a good business in that, when I was sick I was wishing I had someone to go get my perscription and pick up some items, I would have paid well. Put an ad in to do odd jobs, a lot of older people need small things done for them but they will pay you well, my husband had an old car he was going to give some young kid if they would come help him put up our new fence...........you never know what might come along...............good luck

When I was 16, I got a job at a local grocery store bagging and carrying-out groceries. Also, I made money on the side cutting grass during the summer and shoveling snow during the winter. Good luck!

Offer to babysit some evenings. Your best bet is smaller children (5 and under) since they go to bed early and you can study while they are asleep. Parents of little ones LOVE to be able to get out of the house occasionally but usually have a hard time finding someone if they don't have family in the area.

Electronic, Clothing or Department stores during this time of the year is a GREAT opportunity. You make decent pay for the holiday rush.
