False, for many many reasons. Like why do we teach our children not to touch electrical outlets. Or play with the cleaning agents under the sink. What they dont know can hurt them. Same for adults. You have to learn what you should and shouldnt do for your own safety.

The intention of the writer was to explain that if we know more than is necessary to complete a task we can worry over the complexity or even worse, hesitate which could cause failure or even fatality.
