it's too early in the season to judge their performances. they are still searching for their rhythmn. if they find their groove, they'll be ok...
one thing is for sure though, you can't count these teams out cuz they have the ability to turn things around. they just have too much pride and character...

My guess is that all the top teams were just caught off-guard by the vastly improved teams. You know the reason why these teams lead the pack? Because this is a marathon, other teams start off fast and then they're weezing in the back! Don't look for Dallas, Phoenix or Detroit to continue their losing ways for very long, if you're good - you're GOOD!

Well, I haven't watched any Pistons games, so I won't say anything there, but I have watched a couple of Mavericks & Phoenix games and this is what I've seen. . .
with the mavericks, it seems like they're not playing like last year, defensively or offensively, last night against the Clippers, it seemed like once they lost the lead, they gave up, they looked confused, nothing was going in for them. Dirk missed 2 free throws in a row. . . how often does that happen???? They looked tired, of what, i have no idea.
With the suns its different, it seems like they're trying to adjust of having amare back in the lineup. They had a good chance of winning last night against the spurs.
Either way, all those teams will get back in shape & play like they did last year, I dont think their fans have anything to worry about. I just hope that the suns take longer, since they're in the same division as the Lakers.
