First there have been no previous royal known to have attempted such an act. Mainly because the christian churches won't allow it. In the past and still today most royal families are the keeper of the faith. Which means as in England they are the head of the church as well. In recent history this has been passed off too bishops and such and not really a requirement for royals.
So with no longer being "keepers of the faith" and the now legal marriage in most counties this someday may happen. With that said I would have to say if a King or Crown Prince were to marry another man they would be part of the royal family. They most like would receive HRH title (HRH = His Royal Highness) most likely the titel of Prince. There is no way title of Queen or King would be bistowed. You can't have two kings, and queen is gender specific.

It would never happen but if it did then he would be made a prince ( just like Prince Phillip) and not a royal consort. If the king died the the royal consort has the right to rule in place of a monarch. The throne would have to pass on to the next in line and not to the kings husband. He would still be able to keep the title of prince but without the H.R.H.

Consort to the Throne, just like a woman would be, marrying the King doesn't automatically make you a queen, at least with the gay guy he's half way there already.

usual cack being spoken again.
There is no such thing as marriage of same gender in the United Kingdom therefore marriage just not possible.
In theory there is nothing stopping a royal male entering into a civil partnership with another male. No title would need to be given. The civil partnership has no religious connotations, neither is it strictly necessary for the Monarch to be Head of the Church of England.
I would agree that the possibility is remote, but certainly not impossible.

Not likely to happen yet in this world as most Royals are in high regards with the Church
BUT the King would most likely be dethrowned if it did or there was any suggestion that it was going to happen or even worse depending on the country in which it happened .

even a king can't have a gay marriage marriage is a sacred compact between a man and a woman , representative of the Love God has for His people, anything else is a shoddy counterfeit.

He is a gay king, and probably verry happy indeed, shame about the kingdom though, as they might have to adopt, or use surrogate mothers to keep going, hehe
