There are a 100cm in a metre, and 10mm in a centimetre.
So: 11m = 1100cm = 11000mm.

And the other way:
3500mm = 350cm = 3.5m

No, unless you're talking about a scale model.

The metric system is quite easy to understand. You have the basic units:
meter (m), gram (g), second (s), etc.
Then you have the prefixes. The most common are:
1,000: kilo (k), 1/100: centi (c) 1/1000: mili (m)

1000 grams = 1 kilogram = 1 kg
1/100 meters = 1 centimeter = 1 cm
1/1000 seconds = 1 milisecond = 1 ms.

So,
11meters = 11m = 11,000mm
3500mm = 3.5m = 3.5 meters

there are 100cm to a metre and there are 10mm to 1cm so thats means per metre there are 1000mm. 11metresx1000mm = 11000mm
