Babies do things at different times. My niece was late learning to roll but walked before she was 9 months. My nephew was late at both. There isn't anything to worry about.

First off, no child is the same and each will hit the milestones at their own pace. However, if you are worried about your daughter, then by all means, take her to the doc.

My son is developmentally delayed and he was late to hit his milestones also. I worried like you and took him to the doctor who said that if he wasn't doing it in about a month that we would look into some therapy, but I worked with him consistently at home (having him on the floor and slowly rolling him over) and within a few weeks he was able to do it.

But as always, if you have questions regarding your child's health and development, please take your daughter to a doctor.

People ask this all the time here, and the quick version of my usual response is: No, you shouldnt worry. :-)

Ha ha, most children rolling over at 3mths? Not even close. Most children can roll over by the time they are 7mths, but not all. You'll see, your girl will roll over any day now.

I wouldn't rush her to the doctor just now, kids develop at different paces. My oldest didn't roll over until 8 monthes. As long as she is hitting her other milestones (i.e., holding her head up, smiling, following/tracking moving objects, turning her head to a noise or distraction, etc), I wouldn't be too concerned. I think it is worth mentioning to the doctor at the next well baby visit, just for peace of mind! Best of luck, enjoy your princess!!!

You should talk to your doctor. Most children start rolling over at 3 months. Don't worry too much but I would be seeing him.

Some babies are slower than others. Some develop faster in other areas. I suggest that you give your daughter some time, don't rush nature. I am sure your pediatrician would agree that you have nothing to worry about.

Enjoy your baby!

As long as your doctor shows no worries at her appointments, then you shouldn't worry. All children develop at different stages but if you are really worried about her, then call the doctor before her next check-up. Good luck to you.

As long as she is active in other way I would not worry yet. Some babies learn this sooner than others. No biggie.
