Get the local paper and look for bedsits. Also ask the newsagents. It's a big city so folks are not too keen to make conversation with strangers but some may answer. Also, check out The Lindsay [possible Lindsey] hotel, if it's still running. It's in Barbican, just 500 yards from the Barbican tube [Metro] station.

Are you making plans on vacationing everywhere outdoors London? if so, i'd understand in case you desire to have a automobile to force to those different places. on the different hand, if your plan is to bypass sightseeing in London and spot all the properly-enjoyed landmarks, you would be plenty extra useful off using public transport quite. Roads in significant London are jammed with vehicles, so which you get around plenty swifter traveling by potential of tube. extra importantly, looking a automobile parking area on the edge of what you wanna see could be quite confusing. it isn't any plenty relaxing driving around the lower back streets of say, Westminster to discover someplace to park after that would desire to stroll 10 minutes from the automobile to declare, super Ben. If the main appropriate purpose of the holiday is to do sightseeing in London and luxuriate in London's evening existence, by potential of far the ultimate element you're able to do is to stay someplace significant and use public transport.
