C. Everard Palmer is the author. "Everard Palmer was born in Jamaica and lived there until the mid 1980's when he moved to Canada. His childhood was spent in a village just like those in his stories, inhabited by the kind of people we come across in his books all the time. All his stories are inspired by memories of his childhood, and though the people and incidents are fictional, they could so easily be real."
