Is Graham Poll cheating to favour certain clubs. He turned down a stonewall penalty for Everton last night, sent James McFadden off for calling him a cheat which he didnt do and sent John terry off for no reason whatsoever against Spurs. They are professional but refuse to speak to the cameras after the game, what do you all think. No childish answers slagging off Everton please!

I heard that poll signed autographs before the spurs-chelsea match! he just likes the limelight and is seeking attention. and he's a cheat! (and a total moron! i mean 3 bookings to 1 player? that's just stupid!)

I write as an Everton fan who did not see the game.

However in the papers today McFadden has admitted to coming out with "You're effing sh1te" to the referee. I can quite understand how Poll might have thought he heard "cheat"

I also umpire hockey matches, and if any player were to say either of those comments to me he would be off the pitch straight away. Luckily we have the option of a yellow card sin bin for instances like this. I only wish football could do the same.

Firstly I have no sympathy for Everton. When Johnson dived against Sheffield United it was never a penalty, so what goes around comes around.
Poll however IS a right * end.
Remember Sheffield United's F.A. cup semi against Arsenal a few years ago? Poll missed a foul on one of our players and then tripped one up who was going to make a challenge. Arsenal went on to score.
Poll was laughing at half time with some Arsenal players.

John Terry told Ledley King to 'Shut up you lippy black monkey' before getting sent off on Sunday. This would explain the following:

Why King went mad, when normally he is mild tempered and the
incident appeared harmless
Why Chimbonda went berserk and had to be
physically restrained
Why Zakora went mad also
Why Drogba, who was there and always gets involved, did nothing
Why Terry calmly walked away expecting to be sent off for what appeared on TV to be nothing

Terry was accused by Eto of making racist comments in the Barcelona game last year. Apparently a Spurs player has leaked this, but Chelsea are working overtime to keep it quiet Ashley Cole has said that Poll told him the lack of discipline by Chelsea was out of order and Chelsea are trying to discredit Poll, but he cannot possibly come out and say what Terry did as he is the England captain, preferring to say he was sent off for 'ungentlemanly conduct'.
Finally, Rio Ferdinand said in his book that a current England player was a known racist. Wonder who he meant? If this story is true, it will be massive and I can't believe the press haven't got hold of it yet. Chelsea must be weighing journalists out left, right and centre...

Fans are always looking for an excuse when their favourite teams lose. And the scapegoat is always the referee.Poor them. You have to give them the benefit of the doubt. And its not an easy job, making a split second decision ,without the benefit of replays[unlike us at home]which could decide a match. If Graham Poll is a cheat,he wouldn't have made it all the way to the top.If you ask me,Chelsea deserves all the criticism they are receiving now.Always full of excuses, can anyone remember a time when Chelsea accepted a defeat graciously?

To the guy on about John Terry, I dont for one minute believe what your saying about him being a racist if youve ever watched england play hes right in there amongst the celebrations when we score Rio included if there was a problem with John Terry being a racist i am sure it would be seen by players reactions towards him whilst playing for his country!

Useless!

Bearing in mind the 3 bookings to the same player in the world cup also!

He is not useless or a cheat. It's just that he tackles high profile games and has to dish out harsh decisions especially under pressure so it will seem unfair to one side or the other.

Give the guy a break!
