You can give him Pepto Bismal. 1ml for every 10 pounds the dog weighs. Also no food for 24 hours. After the first 24 hours, feed the dog equal parts of boiled white rice to either ground lamb, chicken or beef. You can mix a little cottage cheese in if you'd like. Feed him nothing but the rice/meat mixture for 48 hours. If he is still throwing up, take him to the vet. Also always offer clean water.

if being sick and it has just started starve for 24 hours then feed boiled chicken and rice nice and easy to digest if its been going on a while i would go to the vet to get him checked out in case of blockage or gastrentirits etc the vet will be able to prescribe something. if you just have a gog that gets an upset stomach from time to time then you can add a small amount of natural yoghurt to his daily meal as long as he has no allergies to anything being fed but i wouldnt give him tums

Try giving him a little rice instead of a tum. Rice will soak up anything bad in his tummy. Sorry to hear your dog isn't well :(

No, do NOT give your dog people medicine! Most dogs will eat grass to settle their stomachs - let him run around in your yard for a bit.

yea don't give him a tums. you don't know how the ingredients could affect him.

you should probably take him to the vet if he has been throwing up for over 24 hours...

I always gave my dogs those pink pills for stomach upsets. I can't think of the brand, but almost any brand worked just fine. Also gave pepto bismol. Most human meds work just fine for dogs. Cats, however, can't take anything human.
