I love Lost ... I'm a total Lost junkie. Having said that, I'm afraid this series is just going to peter out ... like Twin Peaks. How long can you sustain this whole "mysterious island" thing. At some point fans are going to want answers ... and there's the rub. If you give us answers ... it's no longer mysterious. If you don't give us answers, we'll get bored and stop watching.

Okay - I thought at first it was some sort of purgatory but now I have so many ideas -
1. They were brought to the island to test themselves - each life was in crisis in one way or another and they had to figure out what they were doing....
2. The island will determine who lives and who dies.
I don't know - I am so confused - too many ideas running through my head!
