I'm living in this program and I might be pregnant by this guy who lives in the apartments behind me. I want a baby too and so does
he... He wants it more than I do. I keep telling him that if I am I will tell my program after christmas because I need to devise a plan of my own.
I told him about the"institutional Abuse" policy... I told him that I can't tell the program that he's the baby's dad because he'll lose his apartment and probably get charges pressed. He's 20 and i'm 17.... He says that that isn't so... But I know better!
What should I do? Because I can't abort my child!

It depends on the state. The age of consent varies widely -- from 14 in one state and 17 in others. I think you are probably safe legally. If you intend to carry this pregnancy to term, it's time for the two of you to get in gear. You need to get prenatal care, arrange for housing and save for the baby. Love has never fed or housed anyone!

He might "want" the child. but your guaranteed to "get it and keep it".
Look after yourself (and baby) first, him second.
You also need to talk to someone older then you and not in "the program"

You should do what your heart desires, you should ask yourself if you want this child and if you can support it, and if he can also support it. he could get in trouble but if you allowed it, law enforcement can do nothing, so do what you want it is your life, if you see wrong in it you should not tell your program but if you don't then do tell them!

Yes it is a good possibility that he can face charges of statutory rape.
