breaking out on your back during pregnancy????? I have clear skin on my face and chest but my back is really bad. During the summer I would break out a little on my back from sweating while playing tennis, ( I was not pg then) But now it is terrible and I am not playing tennis that much as I live in New England and it is starting to be winter here. I bought the Neutragena body wash ans it has helped a tiny bit. I have tried Proactive as well. Has anyone else gone through this and will it go away after the baby is born??? I am 11 weeks and 4 days now. Thanks!!

Yes, when I was pregnant with my first daughter my back broke out really bad. Its your hormones and everything going crazy in your body. I know it is uncomfortable, but just try to hang in there. I did not find anything that helped the problem. When you are pregnant you tend to get hotter and you sweat more, so that can cause a breakout too. I would take extra showers. Yes, it will go away. Mine went away about the 7 month. Good Luck and hang in there. and CONGRATULATIONS!

My dear from my experience (and i just gave birth in July), anything can happen to you when you get pregnant. Breaking out is a very popular symptom due to the hormonal changes going on in your body. At least you haven't broken out on your face. I broke out all over but as soon as the baby was born in a weeks time it disappeared. You will have to bear it for the rest of your pregnancy that's your baby telling you that he or she is here and your body needs to adjust to their presence.

Well have a trouble free pregnancy and safe delivery. God Bless!!

I'm pretty sure it is pg related...the hormones can bring huge changes to skin. Buy some acne gel or something like that (Jhonson's & Jhonson's has good ones) so that it helps the acne to dry up.Adding to theclinique suggestion someone gave you they also have a soap for acne...maybe you could wash your back with it and then use the spray. Hope it helps and it goes away!

not sure about it being pregnancy related, but with all the hormones, it makes sense. Clinique makes a really good body acne spray. It is dermatoligist tested, so it might be ok fir you-check w/ the dr. good luck to you.

I didn't have acne problmes, but I did have a horrible rash thorugh out my whole pregnancy, and as soon as the baby was born, it was gone in three days.

It's your hormones, I'll bet. Should resolve itself after you deliver...

yes its the hormones I never had spots unless I was on the period or when I was pregnant and they went soon after the baby ( I lost the baby though m/c but I'm sure it would have carried on until the baby was born.)

I did with both of my boys. It is related to hormones and the body sweating more. It will go away, but yes...it does feel gross.

in no way observed elves...yet mutually as we are on the area, all of us else see fairies--little long, skinny, gleaming lighting fixtures fixtures that jut around the room somewhat rapid and play tricks on human beings, like hiding the motor vehicle keys for days then sticking them in basic sight because of the fact we mowed down their ring of mushrooms in our backyard? thoroughly intense. Am I the only one?
