No there is not.
I was one of the folks who helped develp and market Viagra and am a pharmacist and pharmacologist by training.
As you know Pfizer did quite a lot of development work several years ago to see if they could develop and get FDA approval to market such a product. The studies were done according to very rigerous scientific
methedology and the data that came back was rather disappointing.
Sexual dysfunction in women is complicated, and it is not simpy a matter of enhancing blood flow through the genitalia. There are many hormonal, emotional/pschological components that come into play. Since there are so many potential factors in any given individual person the studies that Pfizer did to show effectiveness were not sensitie enough to screen through all of the different factors. To make a more complicated story short - eventhough this could have been a very good market for the medicine - we decided to abandon the development of the product for women. When we did so the reasons we gave and the data presented were a bit compellling and they caused most everyone else who had a Viagra like compound in development to also abandon development.

There are other types of products on the market, local lubircants, sensitizers and such as well as vitamins and nutrients that can be purchased. My considered opinion is that these can be of some help to many women but do not have the specificity or level of reliable efficacy that Viagra has for men. There are also very excellent hormonal treatments that can be given but these must be provided by EXPERT and EXPERIENCED physicians as they are nothing to fool with- so called natural suppliments and such have little but psychological effects (which does play a role) so again nothing reliable in this area either.

Some women still sucessfully use Viagra to manage sexual dysfunction- many physicians and sex therapists are knowledgeable and comfortable in prescribing the drug for women. While of course it has side effects, and that is why it is an Rx, it has a very good safety record. While Pfizer was not able or willing to develop the data in a way that would support a claim to FDA for marketing approval of the product it may be of benefit in some women - so if you think it might be helpful see if you can get a prescription for it and try it - it might be useful.

It's still in development. Paracetamol should remove 'the headache'!!!

Viagra is reported to work on a few women, since it's not really a 'wonder drug' it just increases blood flow to the genital area (which also happens to women when aroused).
