OK, I am NOT going to condemn you like everyone else has done so far...
Having had sex after 3 weeks postpartum isn't bad per se, but it could cause some problems. The main issue is that your body needs time to heal if you had any stitches from an episiotomy, or any tearing in your nethers. If you had no (or minimal) tearing or stitches, you are most likely ok. I had no tearing at all after my daughter, and my husband and I had sex 4 weeks postpartum, and went through all the motions, if you get my drift. We waited after that until after my 6 week postpartum appointment, and my OB GYN told me that there was no harm done, that the only issue in my case was the remote possibility of pregnancy. However, I was breastfeeding, and he said the chances were slim to none for pregnancy IN MY CASE. Yours may be different though, as all women are different.
Good luck and try to wait a bit longer if you can :-) And there are other ways to keep your hubby happy without the whole-hog experience too, keep that in mind. Most importantly though, take care of you and your baby and make sure you get plenty of rest... don't let him pressure you into anything...

and your question? could you be pregnant? Yes you had unprotected sex!!!!!! As for the bleeding part, some people stop bleeding after three weeks of giving birth, others dont. Didnt your doctor tell you not to have sex for six weeks after baby was born.

Ive always been told to wait 6 weeks due to infection and healing ( not that i ever wanted it that soon!!!! )
after having a baby your body has to be allowed to return to "normal" so id say try not to let it happen again and if it does use protection if you were to fall pregnant so soon after having a baby, it may cause you trouble coz its still healing. saying that you could still carry a baby to full term but give yourself time to recover childbirth is a big thing for your body after 9months of pregnancy
good luck

Yes it is. Your doctor must have told you that you must wait 6 weeks before sex because there is a risk of infection.
