I think Mr. Leiberman will vote his conscious on issues. He states himself that he now has a newfound vision on issues. He is still a liberal but is just politically independent. One interesting thing he has stated though is that new relationships have been formed and some old relationships have been damaged forever. If anything it should be interesting to see what happens with his voting record going forward.

Joe Lieberman has already stated that he will caucus with the Democrats in spite of the way John Kerry and Hillary Clinton bent him over the back fence and punked him. I can only hope that more moderate Democrats come to the fore and the ultra leftists like Kerry fade into history like some bad dream.

He was always fairly liberal, aside from his position on the war which is directly related to his pro-Zionist stance.
Besides providing a focal point for the terror groups, the war has provided Israel with added security. Many will argue that was one of the hidden reasons behind the action.
He will most liekly caucus with the Democrats because that is how he is most closely alligned politically, although he was voted in by Independents and Republicans.

Liberman has said he will caucus with the Democrats. This will allow him to keep his positions on committee and his seniority. He has always voted his own mind that will not be a surprise. After all he was and is a supporter of the war.

In my opinion there are three things you can count on in this world.
A Democrat is a Democrat.
A Republican is a Republican.
Your gas tank will empty as you drive.
So yes, I think that when the chips are down, Joe will vote with the Democrats. BUT, we'll see.

Who knows...I'd say he'll stick with the Dems, he's pretty independent, that's why he lost the primaries (which are notorious for turning out the extreme members of the party), but I don't think he'll hold that against ALL the Democrats.
oh and SUCK IT UP, YOU'RE PARTY LOST! Americans are sick of Bush and his cronies! Liberman doesn't even matter -- Bush had to sack his beloved Rumsfeld! HAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA! YOUR REIGN OF POWER IS OVER!

That's his decision. I have nothing against Jews or him personally, but if he ever gets a major political position ( like vice president), the nation's in trouble.

Would you continue to side with someone that cut your funding just because they disagreed with you? That has ben my favorite chapter during this entire campaign.
