how might photographs and film contribute to anthropological understanding?

they are extremely insightful because they not only show the people in the picture/film, but they tell alot about the filmmaker/photographer by what they choose to include/disclude... it says alot about how they view the world and the culture...

because they can give an insight into the culture at the time.

there is a great post war news clip famous in austalia called the dancing man.

he was so overjoyed that the war was over he danced through the streets.
