Everything is okay in moderation. Practically everything we eat and drink these days has chemicals in it, so don't stress. Enjoy your cuppa, but if it makes you relax, cut down on what you are drinking and replace some cups of tea with water.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Decaffinated plain tea will not hurt the baby. But it also isn't beneficial for the baby either. You are better off drinking something more hydrating like water or milk and pure fruit juices which have calcium and vit C.

Decaffinated tea still does contain minimal amounts of caffiene. Otherwise, I think its pretty safe to drink this tea, in MINIMAL amounts. Don't overdo it, 1 or 2 cups a day. Also, try herbal tea.

Caffiene can black the absorption of iron in the body, which can be unhealthy. Small doses of caffiene, will not affect the baby, though.

Please check out the below websites. They describe a lot better the I do :-).

i was told that u can have 1 cup of caffine a day and the baby will be fine. if u were a heavy caffine drinker before its hard to quit. i was before i got pg. and here i am 33 weeks pg. and i did cut down on the caffine but i still drink some and my baby is doing just fine. i also drink decaf. hot tea. and i personally would say that there is nothing wrong with it. good luck with your pregnancy. children are miracles. i wish u and your child the best of luck and a long and happy life.
